Cell Phone Digital Camera

Have any of you ever used or use a cellphone digital camera to take and post pics of vehicles you've detailed? If so please share your results - pros and cons, Thanks.

i have a phone with a camera, but i will never use it for anything other than entertainment. for quick shots and easy downloads, i use my sony digital camera and for professional photos i use my nikon n65. imo cameras on phones havent evolved enough and dont show enough detail. they are great for taking pictures of people doing stupid stuff though.

Camera Phone pictures are how they are because the lens size is so small that it restricts the amount of light that can get in. Add to that a somewhat low megapixel count and you have a low quality picture. You could take a decent picture with it, but it would require a full professional lighting outfit, perfect conditions, and the stipulation that you don't view it at a size larger than a cell screen.
