Cd 2?

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
Anyone know where I can find this product? Its made by Turtle Wax, and my local O' Reilly (was kragen's) stopped carrying with OR took it over.

I do a fair amount of Harleys and it works, very well on the black crinkle finish.

Currently I'm using Stoners Trim Shine, but its not as good as CD2.

Thanks

I have found it at Autozone....

Not really sure because over the past few years I have heard multiple times that they were going to discontinue it. But it is always there.

Yup. Autozone is where I get it. It's about 5 bucks a can there. I've never found anything quite like it. Some guys like to use tire shine and crap like that under the hood, but none of it was designed for the temperatures that the product has to endure like CD2 Engine Detailer. Always use the right tool for the job. ;)

My local Autozones still carry it. I stocked up when all of the rumors of it being discontinued surfaced. I think I have a case of the stuff :)

I was going to add that they tend to put it with the degreasers. If someone can't find it right away. Glad you found it.

I don't understand why they do that. Kragens carried it and I didn't think to look there, until one day I was looking for some Gunk for a heavy degreaser I was in need of.

All the stores here stopped carrying it for a while and I heard it was going to be discontinued as well. I found a couple cans and bought them. I still have almost a full can but I've been trying other products. None seem to be as good. I'll have to check AZ next time I'm over there

I understand that will have to ship ground but are there any thoughts about selling it here. I'm sure any company would like to have sales with a following? Just curious.

I like the look and ease of use of CD2 on wrinkle black as well. I use Pig Spit or S100 Engine Brightener on all of mine now as they're both more heat-resistant and longer lasting IME. YMMV.

Interesting. S100 Engine Brightener I would agree is maybe a little more heat resistant, but greasier so it attracts dirt faster. Pig Spit I never got good results with... comes out splotchy looking.
