CD-2 at Auto Zone

JaredPointer

COME AT ME BRO
I don't know if this is common knowledge now or what, but I came across CD-2 Engine Detailer in my Auto Zone this afternoon. Thought some of you Yahoos might like to know. I bought all the cans they had (4). Should last me a little bit. :)

Yahoo's????:D

I don't think mine has the detailer they do have the cleaner, is that what you are talking about?

The detailer is strictly for shine. I'm sure that the Stoners Trim Shine would work. I just wonder how long it would hold up under the heat of an engine compartment.

Its silicone based so it would hold up OK under heat...that's my guess

You better stop at the flower store as well on the way home:D

You bring up a good point. Yesterday in between vacuuming out my basement and going back to work, I stopped off at the local flower shop in town to order two dozens long stem pink and red roses...

now I know they jack the prices up at this time of year...but holy xxxx was that alot of money...

I am not sure how much CD-2 is but I am sure for the price I paid for these flowers I could have bought a pallets worth of CD-2

I hear ya on that one...I buy mine from a local guy that has a stand out of his van...he's been in the same location for the last 20 years....about half the cost of a store

Especially for something that will be dead in five days...maybe if I spray the CD2 on them they will last longer...the least would be they would be glossier.

Picked up cd2 from my local autozone this morning... so for you guys in the Houston area, we do have it. I picked up 2 cans, with I think 4 or 5 left. They are with the brake cleaners, etc. instead of with the detailing accessories. It might have been there the whole time, and I just missed it.

Good point. It was stocked right beside the Gunk engine cleaning & detailing items.

I had someone on another board giving me crap about CD2 not lasting very long and not looking much better than just a clean engine. That may be true from his perspective, but here are some pictures two weeks after application when all I did was spray it on and close the hood.
