ccs 7.5 foam pads question

Hello everyone. A few months back I purchased a set of LC foam pads for my makita. I haven't really had the opportunity to try them out, but as I see them they have a bit of a curved shape. I usually use "flat" pads, so I was wonderng out of you who use these pads, what recommendations should I take while using them.



I have a detail coming up tomorrow and would be a good time to try them out.

I think the idea is so that they contour better to the surface of the vehicle. Give em

a try and let us know what u think
 
Just make sure you have some product on the outer edge if you are using the contour. Otherwise you will be dry buffing the paint. And if you use the pad at an angle, lighten up on the pressure.
