CCD v MF Car Duster

I have used both and I much prefer the CCD over Griots MFCD. I find that the MFCD just pushes dirt from one place to another whereas the CCD actually seems to grab it and pick it up off the paint. Used with GREAT care (just barely flicking the fibers across the surface) I find the wood-handled CCD superior.

It's hard to tell if the loops are split on the Griot's device. I have an older looped MF dash duster like the ones sold at Autogeek and Microfibertech, and agree with TSXwench that they clog quickly, but the newer ones are split and may do better.

I just looked at my Griots CD and the "fingers" are very thick and not split. They certainly are not as frayed and "wrecked" looking as my CCD which is why it has been banished to the trunk of my car. :tribe:
