Cascade For Your Windows!

Did a search with no luck on this. A windshield replacer was at my dads shop today. I noticed what a tough job it was and was wondering how he cleans the glass after his install. I went to talk to him when he was done and asked him what he uses to clean the windshield when he is done. He said he uses Cascade and water in a spray bottle! Has anyone ever heard of or tried this? Im curious to find out about what you guys think.
 
I wish I had more time to talk with him about it. Im wondering Cascade and 0000 steel wool! Must look great but im afraid to try.
 
The last time I had a windsheild put in it was coated in slime. It was like the guy had petroleum jellied all over it. Yech.



So, maybe the first clean is not a typical clean. I'm not using cascade on my car. Not even to degrease the underside.
