Although I don`t need another product in my arsenal, I`ve been looking at some results associated with using this product and it "cued" my curiosity. I usually don`t expect much out of a one-step polish/protectant, but with technology, you never know.... I would like some honest opinions on how well this product would work as a one step correction/protection? (particularly the correction aspect).

Essence is a great abrasive finishing polish and a great primer polish prior to a coating. It does deposit a layer of SiO2 but it does not offer hydrophobic properties. It is hydrophillic. Thus people topping it with something (ie coating, silica spray sealant, etc..). It does do a good job correcting and it will have some minor filling capabilities.

Essence Plus on the other hand is a non-abrasive polish that is hydrophobic with minor filling capabilities.
 
The few times I`ve tried it, it did absolutely nothing as far as correction is concerned. And it was on piano black pillars.
