Carpet Scrubber

Hey guys, im sure someone has stumbled upon this already but I'll throw it out there for anyone who can benefit. I recently recieved a cyclo carpet brush and was less than impressed with how it performed on the pc. But then I had an epiphany, there was an air powered DA sander just collecting dust that i knew had more grunt than my pc so i put it on and WOW!

I detail in a very sandy area and always hated all the scrubbing and vacuuming this little gadget has made it almost a joy instead of a chore. It also works great on tough stains and grime. Didnt have the camera on me today but I did an avalanche interior today that would make most cringe. Full of sand, ground in dirt, along with various mystery spots. What would have normally taken an hour or better to get ready to extract was done in 20-30 minutes and after extraction came out far better than i would have gotten with a hand brush.

Sorry for the long post, but hidden gems like this get me excited. I hope this makes someone else's work a little easier down the line. Happy detailing, James.

I find that the PC has more than enough power to handle the Cyclo carpet brushes. I don't even use it on speed 6 because it slings product everywhere, not to mention it can be a bit rough on the carpet fibers. I find myself using speed 4-5 with the brushes.

I have all 4:

Gray: Has very soft bristles, soft enough for leather

Aqua: Great for carpet

White: Slightly stiffer than Aqua. I haven't figured a use for it yet since Aqua seems to fit the bill for carpet

Black: Very stiff bristles. I've used this to clean grout. I don't think it's suitable for anything related to auto-detailing.

I never really started using the cyclo brushes until recently. I had an extra cyclo laying around and attached the brushes to use that one just for interiors. Oh wow, was I impressed. My interiors have been turning out 10x better and in far less time. I hate scrubbing by hand and I will never do so anymore. It's easy enough now just to switch cyclos and not have to change heads out.

I know not many people have an extra cyclo, but it is easily worth the time to change attachments.
