Carnuba over Sealent

Does topping a canuba over a sealent help the longevity of the sealent?

I actually asked this question over on Show Car Garage not long ago. My thinking was that perhaps the wax took the brunt of exposure and until it wore off to a certain degree, or perhaps almost completely, the sealant was protected from wearing off, thus prolonging the life of the sealant. No one seemed to know!
