Cargo Van Interior and WETSANDING!

My friend brought over his parents new van for me to detail. Was fun....



Previous owners were very very messy. You should have seen the track rails for the seats. Dear god.



Anyways, interior only because this was coming...

Process was:



Scrub with carpet cleaner

Scrub some more

Scrub just a wee bit more.



Degrease with APC 777

Dressed With Natural Look

Cleaned the windows. Its almost as if the previous owner sneezed coke all over the windshelid, and then let the can run down the back of the van. Stains all over the place.



Anyways, only one before:

And a section of the hood done with the new Dewalt Random Orbital.

And, I decided to wetsand the hood of the buick today.



2000 grit. Probably 20 passes per area.

Hyper Compound via rotary and yellow mild cutting pad

Optimum Polish via dewalt DA.

No topper

And polished the rest of the car. It was in a hit and run on the passanger side, so the side was repainted. Was nice a swirled from the body shop, but the colour match is dead on.

And I cleaned up the red paint from the inside of the car. What a horror show.

Hand scrub brush. Can focus on the stains better.
