Carbona spot remoers safe for upholstery/carpet?

My wife has some Carbona Stain Devil bottles that you can buy at the supermarket. They are kind of neat in that there are like 8 different formulas for different specific stains, eg. ink/crayon, coffee/tea, fruit/wed wine, make-up/grass, etc.

I thought they would be great to try on auto interiors because each bottle is specific to a type of stain and they are cheap.

But....the bottle says only to use on fabrics... and do not use on carpeting or upholstery. :nono

Has anybody tried these on auto interior carpeting or upholstery?

Are they effective at removing the stains?

Did they cause any damage to the carpeting/uhpholstery?

Thanks.

OK, so I'm assuming nobody has used Carbona specifically ......

What would be the downfall to using a product designed for fabric on auto carpeting or upholstery?:nixweiss
