But there are more than just judges, there are the spectators and the idea is to put your best foot forward and make your car look iit's best. So people usually either don't use tire shine at all or do the sidewalls and treads to make a more complete look.
How do you do it?Jngrbrdman said:I do it at shows because dressed sidewalls and tread look great. Having dusty tread and nice black sidwalls draws attention away from the car.

Jngrbrdman said:I use a tire swipe and just reach in and wipe them down. I also use a tire swipe on the inside of the wheel well so they are as black and wet as the tires are. Not practical for a weekly detail step, but for a car show sometimes you do things like that.
