Hey guys,

Well are still in search/research mode as we aren't going to purchase until mid August. So far on the short list is a New 2005 Chyrsler Town & Country, Used 2004+ Chrysler Pacifica and on the low end of the list a used 2004+ Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable Wagon. The wife asked me about a Volvo wagon the other day and I thought I would poke around. She specifically asked about the V70/X70 AWD Cross Country. Admittedly I don't know much about Volvo so I thought I would check with you guys.

Our price range is going to restrict it to the 2001-2002 model year. I would like something preferably with less (much less) than 40K on the odometer. below are a couple of examples I have been able to find.

She currently has a Plymouth Voyager and wants a change of pace. We still need to be able to haul the two kids and their associated junk around.

There seem to be a lot of these on the used market right now and the price looks good but, I know nothing about this car. Anything to look out for?? The reveiws I have found on the typical car sites look good. Any info or experience with this vehicle that you can share would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have an S60 2.5T AWD and XC90 V8, so of course I am biased, but the engines in the XC70 are well proven. It's also easy to upgrade the turbo with a simple software program and the car becomes very quick with loads of torque.
