How about making the friggin' rear window so it is easy to clean. Honda is a bigger IDIOT. They placed the third brake light like a 1/2 inch from the window so it is impossible to clean the window area in front of the light. FRIGGIN' IDIOTS!!!! OK I'm finished ranting. Sometimes I feel like the avatar of the guy banging in nails with his head.
 
It isn't just Honda. Take a look at the rear window and third brakelight on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix.:wall

I use a plastic spatula with a MF towel, but doesn't it seem kind of silly to have to use kitchen utensils to clean your car? :)
Next thing you know someone will be suggesting using dishwashing liquid to wash your car before you wax/seal it. :D

I get so frustrated with the brakelight on the GP that I actually considered moving it or taking it out completely. :mad:

I have one (the newer one). But I have a unique problem. I'm too big to get into the back to clean the inside of my rear window! I have to ask the dealer's servce shop to clean it for me. Embarrassing but true...

I don't think it's silly at all! If it works who cares if it's a spatula. I was recently doing some wheels that had brake dust cemented on them. I broke out many cleaners and tried scrubbing them and it was taking forever to make a dent in them. So I went into the house, grabbed some Bon Ami out from underneath the kitchen sink and went to work on the wheels with the Bon Ami and a microfiber. It worked like a champ and it didn't scratch! If it works, that's all that matters in my humble opinion. :)
 
When asked about another technique, Bruce Lee once said,"If it works, use it" and that's good enough for me.
 
:D my accord isnt too hard to clean, although i am a smaller person.

Hondas were never really ment to be detailed, read your owners manual. It says to wash your car with a good dish soap. a
 
You should try cleaning the rear window on the 05-07 Mustangs. Holy smokes does it suck. Especially when you have no rotation in your shoulders.

I don't know rough it is to do on a Honda, but on my Taurus I just remove the 2 screws and remove the entire housing.

Oh man your not kidding. You guys don't understand how bad windows can suck til you work on a line that pushes 70+ cars thru a day. I'm glad i work in a tattoo shop now.

No can do. It seems to be one piece . But I'm thinking there has to be a way to remove the housing. How else would you change the bulb when it burns out. I'll check w/ the stealership and post a solution if it exist.
