I've been so good keeping my Maxx swirl free - QEW and S&W has kept my Dark Blue Metallic looking as good as possible for the LI winter so far. I brought it in for a recall service Friday(normally I don't use the dealer, I do all my own maintenance). Now, this Chevy dealer never does any courtesy services (which is why I use them). The do quality mechanical work, but they are a "no frills" type of delaership. Well, as I walked to my car, I wanted to scream. They "washed it" for me. I went back to the service writer who said "Oh yeah, the manager wanted to try washing as a courtesy since it is the winter..."
So guess whose car looks like it was washed with Brillo????? :ticked
Well, it's not THAT bad, but sure feels like it to me. I know they were just trying to be nice, but...well...you guys know my pain.
So I guess it's some new polish pads & SSR as soon as the weather breaks.
On another note, even though I got marred real bad, the UPP from Nov is holding up great. Still slightly slick, beading well. I also did the windows with UPP in Nov too. Snow and ice removal has been a breeze.
