Are there in good car care mags that you guys subscribe.Ones geared toward products or anything informational in regards to what we do?

The link is fine- just have to delete the ')" from the open linked. I also have their e-mail subscription and it is decent.

Thanks a lot Pei for the link.I remember reading many articles from their site.They offer a free subscription so i registered. It seems to target owners more then people like myself.

Is threr anymore people familiar with other magazines available;

I think there is one other popular magazine that I can't remember right now but IMO the best magazines are these forums. I've gained so much info through this site that I probably would never have learned else where (other than actually detailing). I had a thought the other day- I wondered how many pages in a book reading on DC would accumulate to? It has to be a lot. Anywho I'll try to find that other magazine or someone else will post it up...

I have to agree. a coworker wants me to detail his son car and when i ask what he wanted done he wasn't sure. I explained to him what i thought would be the best way to go. He ask me where i learned all this from and i told them that i learned it from DC a forum for detailing .

The reason i ask is because the chicago suntimes did a page on detailing and how car paints have changed over the years.what to be aware of and the do's and don'ts..

I've found that alot of articles like that in "mainstream" publications tend to have wrong information, too. I'm more inclined to believe what I see and here on sites like this than I am in a magazine -- that is, unless I know the source to be credible from elsewhere. :)

There are sevaral others than Professional Car Washing and Detailing which include

Modern Car Care
American Clean Car
Detailers Digest

I don't have the links off hand but a quick google seach will surely find them.

Thanks for the information.i will do a google.

Thanks to the rest of the posters for the help..

I had a subscription to carwash.com magazine for awhile. Some info was good from time to time, but it was mostly for the DIY carwash and drive-thru carwash owner/operators. Plus it had tons of advertisments for products that you and I would probably never use since we don't own a carwash.
