Can't remeber which Autopian?

I can't recall which detailer it is who only details by hand. No PC, rotory, etc. Whoever that hard working individual is a couple of questions to you:

1. What motion do you use to apply your products? I've heard several different opinions on this, but would like the opinion of a professional who only details by hand.

2. If you apply in only one certain way, why do you do it THAT way?
