Canadians - Where to buy UDM?

Quetsion for my fellow Canadians... Im looking to buy a UDM and would prefer to do so from a Canadian seller (to keep costs down). Unfortunately, none of our shops seem to carry it... Ive checked eshine and it doesnt seem to be there either.

Any suggestions? Id order from the U.S as long as they use USPS, as I assume UPS and Fedex would kill me on additional charges.

Autopia's store has always shipped via USPS for my orders. If you wanted to be sure, you could contact them to verify it. They've got some coupon codes on their homepage for $150 and $300 orders, so you could save a bit of the shipping cost there.

+2.

I ordered my Sonus polishing kit, the one that comes with UDM, with other stuff.

It cost me 300ish .... They ship via USPS for us, canadians.

There was NO EXTRA FEE.

A very good place to buy from and very good customer service.

Thanks guys...

Im actualy hearing some bad stuf about the UDM now. Lots of people saying it wasnt a good quality machine and I should just stick with the PC. Im not sure how well the PC performs average paint correction

It was the original UDM's that had some issues when they first came out a couple of years ago. The current UDM that Autopia sells is basically a rebadged PC 7424, so the UDM and a PC are the same machine both made by Porter Cable.

The closest thing now to a UDM is the Meg's G110:

While not identical to the now discontinued UDM it is pretty close with the same size and more powerful motor (4.2 amp). I have both a PC and a UDM (the original) and while both work fine if I had to choose between the two it would be the UDM because it is a bit more powerful than a PC.

Original UDM here and no problems- plus it's been shown time and time again that David and Lynn will get you taken care of.

IIRC- the original UDM only had <3% return/failure rate. Even though it's easy to post problems on the net- for a newly manufactured machine, that's not bad.
