Can you use the Megs ColorX in a new car?

I bought the Color X wax a year ago to do my old car. I want to know if this is too abrasive for a new car finish? The texture seem to be like the Zaino blue wax, so I think it has some paint cleaner, polish and wax all in one.

I would go for something like Menzerna Final Polish on a new car unless you had some serious problems with the paint job. I would clay first. Many cars are transported by railroad and get rail dust on them. Get that off. Then polish and wax or seal you'll be OK. Zoom-Zoom..........

Not a problem with the ColorX. Its quite good for an OTC AIO. Can be a little tricky pplied by hand, as if you go too thick, its a bear to remove. Tends to clog/wad up pads via a PC. As mentioned, check the need for claying, it makes a huge difference.

absolutely not, i tend to use it every month or so (by :waxing: ) and top it...

Normally not. Look in the manual, some car manufactures recommend to wait a couple of month to harden the clearcoat. I would just clay and protect it with a sealant (klasse twins) and top it with a nauba wax.

I wonder if they changed formulas at all? It was one of the more difficult products i had used when it first came out a few years ago...
