I use my PC to apply Z-AIO and Z-PC, but does anyone or is it ok to apply Z-2p & Z-5p via PC? My hands are killing me when I have to apply by hand!

Also how do you buff off the Zaino when it's dry? MF bonnet on PC or MF by hand? I don't mind buffing by hand, it's just applying it that kills me. Thanks!

I havent tried it myself, but may in the future. The only downside I have read is that you will be using more product.

Well, no. But not because of any serious reason. Haha, the reason is that the only time ive used zaino products is on my friends Lotus elise. Thats pretty much the kind of car you do all by hand. Things only take just a few minutes to complete.

I tried Z2 Pro today with a DA. Used up lots of product. And "don't apply too thin" or else the surface won't be slick. I ended up apply again with hand. I applied it with Megs W9006 Finishing Pad. I think a most of product got soaked into the pad becoz the viscosity of Z2 Pro. I guess it's alright to apply with the PC as the cost of a btl is cheaper in US, but becoz in my country after currency rates exchange it cost me RM80.00 / 8oz. btl. So I would rather apply by hand. Thks. :)

Try using an SFX-3 4" spot pad as your Z applicator if you want to apply using the PC. The SFX-3 material is denser than a lot of finishing pads; it doesn't absorb liquid products as quickly or as deeply as other foams, and returns more of it to the paint. The 4" size also means there's less surface area to "prime" on the pad.

I use about 1/3 oz. of Zaino to cover a medium-sized sedan when I use a 4" SFX-3 pad to apply. Contrary to popular belief, DA application is not necessarily wasteful, nor do you end up applying a layer that's too thick. In my experience, I use less Zaino by DA than by hand, and the layer of product laid down by DA is thinner and more even than hand application.

YMMV, but I never apply Zaino by hand anymore.
