Can you put OCW over other sealants or wax?

I decided to give OCW a try, but I already have EX-P/#16 on my truck for the winter.

Can I apply OCW over this periodically to extend me through the winter, or does OCW need a clean surface for bonding?

I've got OCW over 1/2 of my daily driver on top of Natty's. It seems to be doing a good job. My unscientific results so far - can't tell a difference between the 2 sides of the car.

I have used it both sealants and waxes here without any problems. I have also used it before waxes and then topped it.

No problems using it either way here. Its currently my go to product after a wash now winter is here.

Only on Sunday I applied a coat after washing to my paint which already had #16 on it.

Thanks for the responses.

It sounds like OCW can be used under or over other products. I'll give it a try over my EX-P/#16 after a wash this weekend.

I would let that EX-P cure a while before applying anything over it.

EX-P/#16 was applied ~ 6 weeks ago. I was just looking to apply OCW after a regular wash in order to extend the protection through the winter. I would usually use PB QD+ or something similar, but I wanted to give OCW a try since it sounds like it has better durability.

From all the responses here, it sounds like OCW will work well for this.

So, the OCW side doesn't look better? Are you saying there was no point to applying the OCW? (Haven't tested it myself, so I have no reference point.)

No, I'm not saying that... so far in my mind, I'm liking OCW due to ease of application. They both seem to be doing a great job in terms of looks and durability. Like I said, not a scientific test at all.

Has anybody else here had streaking with OCW? In the past, I've used it as a topper over 4* UPP and KSG. 90% of the time, the outcome is great. But, every once in a while, I get some streaks that won't buff out. On the trunk of my car, I wound up using AIO to strip everything off after I got some streaks with OCW. For that reason, I haven't been using it very often lately.

Ok, so you can put OCW on top of anything. But let's say you have a car finished with a sealant, then you use OCW. Can you then (say in a few weeks) reapply the sealant without bonding issues, or will you need to stay OCW/carnauba or strip first? Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, my thread title search didn't turn anything up.

My guess is it probably depends on which sealant you're using.

JWAJ just calls for a well prepped surface, KSG as we know can be fincky and should be applied on top of AIO or itself. EX(EX-P) may work.
