Can we post Motorcycles

I know is autopia, meaning Autos, but I did a client's Kawasaki Concours for him to bring it up like the other vehicles in the house. I'm happy with the results, and he was thrilled. I should note the cycle is a 1988, with 40K miles on it.

Process:

Wash with Dawn to get all the old (if there was any) wax off

Dry, then polish with Griots MP#2.

We also polished the windshield, which took 5 minutes but putting it back on took 45 minutes- don't ask.

Wax was Megs NXT, which is favorite wax to use now.

Hard bags were treated with Griots vinyl & rubber dressing, as was the black piping along the bodywork.

First 4 pictures are before/after of the parts. The last 2 are just results shots.

Also, why do I get thumbnails when I attach pictures at 1024x768?

Edit: here's better images from Photobucket hosting.

Looks great! Especially for the year. :goodjob

Every now and then someone posts a bike. I will be posting once I get them done. My bike had a mini detail but needs a full detail and my friends is waiting for me as well.

the pictures suck due to my resizing program here at work. They really are better than what's showing.

Thanks for the comments John.

Can you post motorcycles?? Of course you can!! I love motorcycles. Besides, people post their freshly detailed appliances so I think we can live with motorcycles, lol.

Just a tip, join photobucket (free) and use that to host your pictures. You just upload your pics to their site, and they automatically resize them as necessary. After that, just click on the "IMG" coded link and insert it here in your post, done!

I should have said, but I can't get to the bucket from work (blocked- censored) so I have to rely on attachments. Most photo sites are blocked, so I can't usually see all the good work fellow Autopians do.

Awesome job on that Concours, wish people would post more pics of motorcycles :2thumbs:

I love the old one but have any of you seen the new 2008 Concours?

It is based on the Kawasaki ZX14 but has been Supersport-Tourified with more comfort godies as well as shaft drive. The perfect machine for those of us still addicted to speed but too old for the back breaking riding position of most modern sport bikes.
