would it "stick" without using AIO after the FP and #9

so

1.)DACP

2.)Menzerma FP/#9

3.)klasse SG

TIA

The FP isn't the same thing as the #9. The FP is an excellent base for the SG, but still better if you use the IP before it. About the 1Z, it tops great over the FP, and it's the easiest thing to work.

Apples and oranges. DACP/FP is a great combination. No reason not to use AIO before SG.

#9 after DACP is a different situation. #9 will remove swirls, but will also leave oils and fillers to hide swirls that might not have been removed. AIO is a robust cleaner which will remove the makeup, and the hidden swirls will reappear. If you don't need to hide anything, it's OK. Follow with AIO/SG. But I don't know how well SG will work without AIO. AIO prepares the paint so it will bond well with the SG.

If you need to maintain the fillers to hide swirls, try Poorboy's EX. I think that can provide you with a good-looking long-lasting "sealant" without removing the fillers. Einszett Glanz Wax might also work, worth a try.

well i was asking more on the ,lines of it would "stick" no matter what what used in what order....

so lets just say if SG would stick on top of #9

or

would it stick on FP

thanks for the proir info!

So EX will not remove any fillers and will aslo bond to a surface that has fillers?

I did that on Steve's (Poorboy's) suggestion with #9 followed by EX. Seems to have worked. Looks great. Steve also suggested applying the EX by hand in this case, as PC action might interfere with the fillers laid down with #9. Not a problem because EX is extremely easy to apply by hand, as it is not an abrasive polish that needs to be worked into the paint.
