Can someone make the background of my logo transparent?

Hey everyone, I ordered a logo online a while back, i cant remember the website i got it from otherwise I would call them.



I have the files that they sent me, the background of the logo is white and its killing me! I cant put it on anything because it looks sooo cheesy with a white background.



I was wondering if anyone had the know how to make it a transparent background so it will look nice over any color, (business cards, tshirts, flyers, etc...)



I am willing to pay someone to do this, please let me know if anyone can help, i would really appreciate it!!

hey guys i really appreciate all your help! i dont have a .psd file, the file types they sent:



1) AI file

2) EPS

3) JPEG

4) TIF

5) GIF (many different sizes)



Which one would you guys like??

Post the .gif and someone else or myself will take care of it :)



Actually, to make matters easier, you could just email me the .tiff. Shoot me a PM and I'll send you my email :)
 
ai file is the way to go. that's the one you should be using most often anyway since it's resolution independent. drop it to me at jeffnee(at)mac.com and i'll get it back to you in a couple minutes. haha.
