Can light hazing be removed using SMR

I read on here somewhere that hazing is scratches that are too small to be seen with the naked eye. So wouldn't that mean you don't need a very agressive product too remove it?

Not necessarily. Depends on you look at hazing and streaking. I've seen it used interchangably.

For example, Klasse SG has a history of hazing (movable film) if you apply it to thickly.

Most hazing can be removed with a SMR or light (SEC/GEPC/Vanilla Moose etc.) and can be seen with a naked eye.

Finesse It II from 3M cause hazing if you didn't work the product long enough (light scratches).

3M's SMR for some causes the same light scratch hazing if you don't work it long enough.

Usually, hazing a result of not working the product long enough (moderate to light polishes) or a result of using a heavy cut cleaner. Heavy Cut cleaner by there nature leave 1500-2000 grit sand marks. You are suppose to follow-up with a SMR.

I used to get hazing once in a blue moon with 3M SMR. I don't use the product anymore but when I did have a problem I would apply a layer of Klasse AIO and it would clear any hazing up right away.

Klasse AIO is a good product that be used in many ways, I think everyone should have a small supply, it's great stuff.

I am having this same problem. My haze seems to smear around so I was told I used too much of Griots wax and quick detailer should take it off.

Its not my car but its a car that had a very deep scratch in it(he claims he could feel the scratch with his finger nail). He took it to the dealership where they used a wool pad on a rotary buffer. Now it's hazed. Im alittle worried about how much clear coat is left in the area where there is hazing. How can I tell without the paint depth machine?
