Can Klasee SG be Sprayed ?

To get the best from Klasse SG I know that thin layers is the way to apply.

Is it worth buying a very small hand spray unit that would mist out a very small quantity of SG ? I was thinking of the kind and spay unit typically associated with make-up which ladies keep in their handbags.

The only downside I can see is that SG may be too thick to be able to be sprayed from such a bottle.

Has anyone tried this approach?

Thanks

Undiluted, SG may be too thick to spray (although the newer formulation appears thinner) - but don't let that stop you. I've been diluting it 1:4 - 1:6 with water, and then misting it on and wiping with an MF applicator.

After applying to the whole panel, I then immediately wipe down with a 100% cotton or MF cloth (I actually like cotton better for this step), and I'm done.

I can do the whole car in about 10 minutes, and it's as easy as using a quick detailer.

I get results I like, with effort that I'm willing to put it, and it's easy (and cost effective enough) to reapply each week after washing.

I actually use a larger sprayer from HomeDepot (16 oz), as I then don't have to make up the mixture so often.

I don't think that a true, atomized spray is required. As long as you're following up by evening the application with an MF applicator, even a 'sloppy' spray pattern will work fine. (I've actually been spraying my applicator lately, to avoid fine mist droplets of SG from settling on the windows)

Unless the product specifically mentions it can be diluted, I would not do it.

Chemists work out proper proportions for the substances used -- to ensure best looks and durability for the product (atleast I'd like to think so). Adding water would negatively impact this fine-tuned balance.

I've done it all the time

Best to spray onto a standard MF cloth, buff and then use a monster fluffy or ultra plush towel to finish

klasse does mention you can make a QD spray form a 1:4 mix with water , so i guess its ok

Klasse works fine in a sprayer, I actually got some fine misting sprayers from a beauty supply store to use.

My method with Klasse is to use a rotary or PC with a finishing pad and put on SG in a thin coat. Then I let it dry and I take the SG and go back over the wax like it was a QD WOWO method, works like a charm. I may try the dilution method though to save on using too much SG.

WOW, great method. Best of both worlds

Guaranteed durability with the buffer and WOWO method just to make sure surface is totally protected
