Can I top VM with Z2?

I just used SSR2.5 then went with a coat of VM. It got dark, so I shut the garage and am going to finish in the morning. I was planning on topping with EX-P, since I got such good results from it the last two times. But since all the Zaino talk as of late I was thinking of using my last bit as a topper to my combo instead of EX-P. My question is, any trouble bonding with VM?
 
I think VM has a little bit of wax in it which would probably cause issues as Mr. Ness has stated. I believe that is why you are suppose to wash with Dawn before using zaino...to remove the wax.
 
If you are using the VM for its cleansing and very mild polishing ability only (it does contain some sort of synthetic wax) just IPA wipe afterwards and than apply the Z2/ZFX or Z1/Z2. No need for a Dawn wash because all the previous oils/silcones should have been removed your normal pre-polishing wash and the SSR2 step. The small amount of oils/wax in VM will be easily removed with IPA wipedown.

If you like the look of EX-P you can also top the Z2 in a few days with it if you feel the need.
