Can I put Opti-Seal over 476 ?

Well I'm going to be getting some 476 soon, and was wondering if it would take well to being topped with OS for some extra wetness, etc? I have used OS over #26, and poli-seal, no problem at all.

Any input would be cool, I have no experience with 476 (collinite), yet.

Why not put the 476 over Opti-Seal. I do this with Trade Secret all the time.

Doesnt the 476 last so long because of how it bonds to the paint? Wouldnt it be trying to bond to the OS if I did OS first?

Opti-Seal seems to work fine over cured and washed carnaubas. Pesrsonally, I like the wetness of OS, so I use it last.

thanks. I dont really plan on washing again, but is overnight enough time for it to cure?

Overnight is enough but I would highly recommend washing the car again before applying OS. I'd say the same if you were going to apply another layer of carnauba. Otherwise you may have some streaking issues.

Yeah, I have had those issues. Almost looked like mini-holograms, but I just buffed them off w/ a nice MF towel.

Thank you for the info though. :bow
