Hi all. Long time lurker few posts, I just like to read.

I have a 2005 BMW 3 series silver in color. I have 4 coats of Z2P on it then got bored and thought I would try a nuba over it. So there are a few different nubas on it, #16 and NB. I want to put a heavy wax on it for winter like Colinite without having to start over by removing anything. If I put the Colinite on the Nattys Blue will it still bond and last long?

3 layers of zaino plus a high durability wax (#16) plus a beauty wax (Natty's blue)... i think that it has enough durability to last you thru winter anyways. But if your insistent on going the IW route, I'd just do a coat of AIO to clean off everything and do a coat or two of IW. It should take you and hour and a half max to do AIO/IWx2 and that should last you all winter. I haven't used IW myself yet, but i would think that alot of its durability characteristics comes from it bonding with a clean surface, not one that has a few layers of product on top of it.

It's always been my experience that a wax will only last as long as the least durable wax underneath it. Of course others may have different experiences. I would personally do what Neothin suggests and clean it all off then add a couple coats of the IW. That will take you through the winter easily.

Gee thanks for all the help...

Well, I would much rather have been online answering Qs like this than cleaning up leaves :D

Yeah, you can just put the Collinite over your existing wax. or at least it worked fine for me.

Last winter I had #16 on my wife's A8. I put 476S over top of it with just a wash and spot-clay. Held up just fine. I plan to do the same thing this winter.

But I dunno how well it'd work over something like Souveran ;
