Can I add a colored dye to my sealant?

I recently purchased a nice silver metallic Regal GS. As much as I'm digging the paint, it's ridiculously difficult to observe where I've applied wax and if it's completely removed or not. I'm used to black.

At the risk of coming off like an idiot, I thought it might be feasible to add some food coloring or the like to say...some WG sealant.

Could it harm the WG? Alter it's chemistry? Give my car a colored hue after application? lol, I certainly wouldn't want the latter.

If this would be a bad idea...any tips for those with light colored cars on how to see your wax?

Thanks!

(P.S. Is there a post limit before you can have an avatar? I can't seem to find a way to upload one...even after choosing "edit avatar in my control panel")

The avatars still aren't working, at least for me anyway. Mine doesn't even make sense anymore.

I think I'd just leave the WG the way it is. Learn to know how much product to apply, or use a halogen light to see the product better.

I guess I just got so used to how easy it was to see on my black Regal. I had application down to an art, just grazing the paint with the thinnest layer possible. Now I have to lay it on relatively thick for visual confirmation, or simply trust that it's going to be evenly applied where my applicator pad travels...

I'll try the halogen light though, thanks for the suggestion.

Keep the layers thin or your just wasting wax, once you have removed most of the cured wax go other the panel with a QD to remove any missed excess
