can dressed tires be coated?

can these tire dressings that dry to the touch be over-coated with a sealant such as Hydro2 for longer durability? or is that an unnecessary waste of time and product?

Any tire "dressed" would have to be cleaned of all product to get anything else to stick to it..

A proven product, that has been out for years, Tuff Shine Clear Sealant is really great..

Once your clean your tires really well, (and they make an outstanding cleaner for this as well), a few coats of this will keep your tires really nice and black, not sticky or greasy, not ugly, just perfect, and again, proven in the Pacific Northwest, to out last anything out there..

Have been using it on my personal car/s and Clients for years, and especially love getting a return Client that was treated such, knowing I will have very little to do to get the tires back to beautiful..
Good luck with your research -

my reason for asking is the last two times i cleaned the tires with $ store tire cleaner and only got white foam. Then i did not dress them. But it appears that the Hydro2 is still intact on the steel wheels & tires as they are still very water repelling/hydrophobic? but dingy looking. Can't hurt to try i guess
