I think that this is not that, only because they insist in 24-48 hr before getting it wet
At least it was like that with the aerosol version. I have the new version on hand but have not used it yet.
Are you looking to use this on the vette that has the new Blackfire coating on it?
I don`t know if it would work that well as a drying aid as mentioned. But after you dry the car it would be fine.
Was wondering how it was as a topper.
I have not tried to use it as a drying aid but I am thinking that water won`t play well with it given the chemistry is different than say something like wet coat or hydro blue. Jeff from Gyeon would be the one to really know. Hopefully he sees this thread and chimes in.
You could always just use a spray topper and call it a day as a last resort. If you were closer we could get a few of us to tackle a reapplication or put something new on it.
I have only used it on virgin paint to date. Polished , ipa wiped and then can coated.
This is something that has never occurred to me and I would think it might not end well but who knows?Anybody tried it?

Thanks Guz..
There is someone we both know on the sister sight that uses either dp/mckees coating as a drying aid, so I was wondering.
Wow! I can’t even wrap my head around using a coating that flashes as a drying aid. Water and coatings usually don’t mix. I wonder if McKees is a water based coating (carrier)?

I had the same thoughts. People who have tried it probably see some sort of success as I`m sure a bit of the product survives being diluted with the water.
Beyond the questionable durability from being diluted with water, I`d have a hard time with the cost. Neither CanCoat or McKee`s are very cheap per volume for use as a drying aid or a frequent topper. I think something like ECH2O or any number of QD and spray sealants would be a much more economical product for a drying aid for a coated car.
Curosity killed the cat.
