OK, this confirms it. California is the most whacked state in the union:



California is considering restricting dark colors for cars paint and interiors, on the grounds that dark cars get hotter while sitting parked in the sun, and people have to use the air conditioning more and longer to cool the cars, there-by increasing emissions.

I am just about 100% any environmental initiative the idiots in California think up, just on shear principle. This one comes up as one of the most idiotic ideas they've come up with. What the h*ll is next? Filtered, catalytic converter embedded underwear for people who fart too much? That's a source of greenhouse gases, too.
