Customer has had his Corvette at Hunters Performance for the last month and now that its done, he wanted it cleaned up. I have known this guy for awhile and did his wifes Challenger and after hers he wanted his done. Went with my Exterior Level 1 Correction Package going for 90% correction...well for some reason this corvette was amazing. Ended at 100% correction and was quite easy doing it. I wish all black cars let alone vettes would correct this well. Car came out AMAZING. I was even amazed at the crispness of the reflections and gloss.

Simple process, took probably 11-12 hours worth of correction and it was done...

Washed w/ Maxi Sudds

Clayed w/ DI Medium Clay via ONR Lube

Dried and taped

Buffing:

M105 via GG DA w/ MF Cutting Pad

PO85RD via DW849 w/ Uber Green

Wiped down with Eraser

LSP:

Blackfire Wet Diamond applied by hand applicator.

Befores...

Since I was starting on the car early, the sun was not up that well and was only able to get light sun shots. Still enough too notice what the car looked like before out in the sun...

After washing and claying the car and prepping the paint for correction was able to see what the true condition of the paint was...

While trying to limit the amount of during pictures and focus more on true befores and afters...here is my test area. Worked across the hood in 3 sections. What it started at...

After compounding the hood, now to remove the micro marring that was left behind...

Then after the second step, final polish, here is what is left...

After getting the car completely finished, before taking it outside in the sun...it looked so damn good where it sat.

Had to get some more pictures...

Very nice correction work. The black looks amazing and the reflection shots are just crazy.

Thanks. Also, the only thing done to this is full exhaust, longtubes, intake, cam and a dyno tune. You saw the dyno numbers lol. This car is a factory freak too the definition. It made 458rwhp before the cam.

Very nice! It's already been said, but those reflections are incredible.
