A im planning on purchasing a potacable orbitable poliser. I have been researching on the proper step to take in order to detail a car. The steps as I understand are as follows.
1. Wash car with a quality car detergent - i use Mcguiers.
2. Clay Bar the car if needed - Any suggestions on brands.
3. Polish car / mild compound if necessary
4. Apply wax.
Is this correct? Also a few questions:
1. What is a glaze used for? Dotes this replace wax?
2. When removing wax do you use the machine to do this or do you do it by hand?
3. When do you use the bonnet? Fo wax removal or Buffing?
