I recommend you come to the open chat tonight.

There are many, long time, successful, detailers, both mobile and fixed operations who you can chat with and get a better idea or such regarding your plans.

Not stealing! Sam Walton said to take your competitors ideas and improve on them. He turned out okay.

Do you have any specific questions regarding your setup? Maybe that could give us some more information on what you are needing possible help with.

Well just wondering if i should built my own pressure system by getting the pump and motor separate or just get a good pressure washer and adapt it to my skid...

I guess that really depends on how much you use the pressure washer. I use almost exclusively rinseless products, so my pressure washer gathers dust much of the time. If you are going to use your pressure system a LOT I would recommend getting a good pressure washing, and adapting it to your skid. I have a 2700 PSI Black Max with a Honda engine and it is a boss. Plus, I used to work at Sam's Club building these for display all the time, and all you have to do in order to skid mount it is take the wheels off and bolt it down. :2thumbs:

Well yeah i will be using it quiet a bit, my plan is to apc the wheels and pressure wash them and rinse the car before my ONR wash so i can make it a bit faster since my main goal right now will be car washing.

Unless you're doing extremely dirty cars all the time you'll be fine with just ONR. Get a sprayer and pre soak if youre worried. I have a Nomad washer and thats what I rinse wheels with if I have to. Even on the worst wheels I've never needed anything else. Any cars that have bad dirt, I presoak and let ONR do its thing. You should focus on getting wash clients as repeat clients and youll never have to worry about it.

I thought I'd need one too, but I havent used it yet and I only use the Nomad on detailing. Strictly ONR on wheels, sometimes some APC.

Good luck, van is looking awesome!

Just throwing this out here, but you might want to experiment with ONR a bit before going with this big setup. If you have to pre rinse a vehicle because it is so dirty, you might be better off with just a regular 2 bucket wash. I almost exclusively use ONR and I never pre rinse. You just don't need to, thats what ONR is for.

Yeah i think i didnt explain right the first time. I rather have it and not need it to one day need it and not have it.. I know i could use the pressure washer for multiple purposes anyways. I would really like to have one to save time. I like the murphy method (guy with the yellow pick up) just blast the surface before ONR to get rid of most of the dirt and clean wheels and wells faster...

Im thinking about northern tool pressure washer they seem to be nice.
