hey guys i need some advice. i am going to print up some business cards and was wondering what info most put on theirs as far as what work the offer. i don't know how extensive to make it. any suggestions would be apprciated.

I have ordered from Vistaprint.com and was very pleased with the price, service, and finished product. I think I got 1500 for around $90 shipped. If your not going to design it yourself then you go to their website, select a design and then fill in all the information you want on the card. Otherwise, I think the basic bcard requirements are:
Business Name (And/Or your personal name)
Address (Fixed Location)
#
Website (If Available)
Pricing/Special Offer on the back

Hope this helps,
Shaun

i put business name, personal name, phone number, email on mine.

I put all of this plus under my business name in smaller print I have " complete interior and exterior cleaners " just in case they couldn't tell from my business name. Or you could put " complete auto detailing" or something like that . Plus I have a picture of an old Porshe Boxter I downloaded from the net ..

i got a mix of saleen s7 and audi a4(my car) cards. i give them a little explanation of what we do when i hand them the card.

Don't forget to go to Office Depot and get magnets to adhere to your business card. That way when you do a job, give them the card w/magnet and they will put it on there fridge and remember who you are. Otherwise people will forget who you are and you will possibly lose repeat business

Business name , some type of motto or saying , your name ,phone number, email and web site if you have one. The area/area's your serving.

here are what mine look like (taken from another post, and in photoshop format. No tie to dig out the converted files sorry):
Business Card Files!
I have these printed at www.overnightprints.com I recommend them over ANY ANY ANY printer out there. Incredible quality, great turnaround, great prices! I always have the front done in High Gloss, and the back matte. anyhow for the files:

This is the original front: Source File: BcardFront.psd 3.75MB Right-Click Save AS

This is the original back, but now the front: Source File: BcardBack.psd 500K Right-Click Save AS

This is the new back, it uses the old back as the front: Source File: ReferralcardBack.psd 1.35MB Right-Click Save AS

I have samples from both overnightprints and vistaprint, both are good quality. I would say Overnightprints have better design and seem faster, but both are ridiculously cheap!

Overnight prints did an excelent job on my cards, 2000 for $80 shipped full color both sides with the gloss on both sides. Very happy with thir service.
