Bumper cover care

What is the best way to remove those small but noticeable scratches and swirls in painted bumper covers (my bumpers are black:( ). Do I treat this like I would treat the body of the car, meaning clay, SMR, Klasse?

Thanks,

clay won't do anyting for scratches - it removes paint contaminates, and the other stuff won't do much either other then make it look better and treat it so cleaning bugs off in the future will be easier.

If you've got chips, scratches, you have to fill them in with touch up paint. Not sure what the procedure is for bumpers since they aren't metal like the body, but I'm sure someone can tell ya.

Btw, you've have to do this every time you drive if you want to keep your bumper perfect, or fix it once and get a clear/regular bra.

It's actually the rear bumber that looks worse than the front. I recall using some IHG and it wasn't too bad, but I was wondering what the experts thought about this.
