This thing was beautiful. Sounded insane!

Now down to the nitty gritty. Customer has never had it detailed, and finally decided after his 300c, it was time. Hood was in terrible shape, seems it had been repainted before he bought it. Prep work was visible in 30% of the hood, wet sanding marks visible in both fenders and color sanding down on the pass rear door that was never buffed out. So I put about 18-20 hours into this to bring it back to a near factory finish. Customer was very pleased, when he first saw it his only words where "Night and day difference!"

Process:

Wash

Pinnical Ultra Clay with ONR Lube

Men. Power Gloss via GG DA w/ LC Yellow Pad

Rear Half(I ran out of M205):

Men. Super Finish via GG DA w/ LC Black Pad

Excellent job, impressive for DA. Not to fond of the wheels but they look pretty good. What all is done to it?

Well its not that its impressive for a DA, it just required multiple compunds since most of the body was fiberglass, I did not want to use the Rotary. So compound with yellow followed by orange then white then polished with white and finished with black is alot of correction.

The car is cammed, longtubes, D-1SC(8lbs), intake, 3" true dual exhaust, and dyno tuned.

Hat's off to you for doing this with a DA. The results are amazing, and the indoor gloss 3/4 shot is absolutely drool-worthy :bigups. I normally think those wheels are cheesy, but on this car they are sweet! It's like a perfect color match, and the yellow lips even look polished . Wonderful work on a B.A. ride.

What does it being fiberglass have to do with using a rotary?

Nothing, paint is paint whether it is on fiberglass, steel, aluminum or SMC in my opinion.

Nive vette, nice work. I am not feeling those wheels though. I guess that is why they make salt and pepper.

Loving nearly everything on this. The wheels set it off though I'm not a fan on painted headlamp housings. Can't wait to see more pics!

Thats actually OEM on the C6 Vettes, and I agree its the one downside to these cars.

Nice :spot Menzerna products worked good on my vette with the flex da.

holly crap that is one sick *** Vette. Is this owned by the same person that owns the blue one that was posted up here a while ago?

Someone did a nice blue one with blue matching rims and now this yellow one with yellow matching rims.

Very slick work.
