On a trip to the mountains, the front bumper of my black Infiniti G35 made impact with something that I thought was a bug. I didn't hear the impact, but I saw the mark while stopped for gas. It looked like a big bug had left its entrails on the bumper, but I didn't attempt to remove it until I got home today from the trip.
Turns out it must've been a rock that left a weird shaped gouge in my clear coat and paint.
The bumper is, of course, plastic. I don't know how relevant that might be.
What I need to know is whether or not I should buy one of those paint pens offered by the manufacturer? If so, what sort of results should I expect.
If not, what do you suggest I do? It's not a huge blemish, but it's very visible given the location.
:grrr
