Ok Im not so sure where to post this so here is where i'll put it.

Anyways after i clayed i noticed the leftover bug spots but it felt smooth.

How does one get rid of these?

There are a few things to do, but buffing is one of them. The acid in bug splatter can eat through paint, especially on bumpers, where the flex agent and plastic surface usually mean compromised paint, especially on Suburus, Nissans, & Kias. If the buffing with an abrasive pad or polish doesn't work, and it doesn't and the etching isn't whiter than the paint, you might want to look into wetsanding. Love to hear other opinions about this.

yea all of the etching is on the painted bumper

Yep, bugs can trash your paint if left on too long. I have a friend who evaucated for the hurricane and left bugs on his hood for 5+ weeks. It's etched into the clearcoat now.

Time to bring it to a pro to be wetsanding and compounded with a rotary.
