Unless there`s some real wildcard factor to consider, I`d rather just use an Insect-resistant LSP (e.g. FK1000P or KSG * 6).

That`s my thought as well. The coatings I use make it easy to remove bugs as long as I don`t allow them to bake in the sun...which occasionally happens on a road trip.

I have 2 coats of FK 1000p on it, just trying to make my life easier.
