Hello,

Im a complete newbie and have heard alot of people talk about buffing. What exactly is that, someone said somewhere, "is this pad used for waxing or buffing?" it completely threw me off. they sell buffing pads, buffing towels, what exactly is buffing??

Thanks in advance

Jim

Buffing is a very general term and with a lot of loose definitions. Buffing can refer to using an machine buffer to polish or wax paint, and it can also refer to the process of taking of residue of a product. When the person said that commend, they were probably talking about the aggressiveness of the pad in relation to its function- buffing as in polishing paint, or waxing paint.

Hi kler.. I had the same question and have come to the conclusion that it means "everything". Except maybe driving.
