Buffer question

I know I may get yelled at for this, but I got a Craftsman 10" random orbital buffer on sale. I have the applicator pads, terry cloth pads, and a polishing bonnet with it. I want to use it when using S100 SEC and S100. I was particularly planning on using it to get the S100 wax off after applying. Should I wash the terry cloth pads first? Any comments, suggestions? TIA :)

S100 comes off so easy. It would be more of a pain in the a** to use that thing. Just use a nice MF towl and your set. I can put a fresh coat of S100 on my car in like 15 - 20 minutes.

Yeah, I agree. Plus a microfiber is so much softer than any terry bonnet.

Use the buffer to apply polishes and cleaners. It would work fine with the SEC for example. But I'm with MB Bob; by the time you busted out the buffer, found the extension cord, plugged it in, attached the terry bonnet, and got to work I'd have 1/2 the car waxed already. Sometimes machines are not the time savers we think they are.

Thanks guys. I spent about an hour and a half on my car doing the SEC and the S100 a couple of weeks ago :o
