I don't use my random orbital most of the time, but after cutting my time drastically by using it on my last customer car, I thought I'd use it to buff off my glaze & wax last night.
The unit has only been used to apply product once- I really just use it carefully to buff off, which is why I can't figure out why it would'nt work last night.
The glaze came off o.k. using a couple bonnets, but the wax wouldn't buff off for anything! It was dry- I did the finger-wipe test, and could buff it off by hand just fine.
It seemed like the bonnets were saturated before I barely began!
Cold the oxidation I buffed off the customers car ruin the bonnets?
When washed, I rubbed a good amount of Dawn into each one, followed by a rub with liquid detergent, and used a generous amount of detergent in that load. They all came out looking new, but don't seem to hold anything now.
What's the deal?
(I've used it before on my car with this same wax, and it was fine)
