Buff & Shine's New MF pads now out---

The only peron I know that has used them is Jimmy Lucci. I am sure they are great but time will tell. I need to pick up a couple to try out.
 
So I am going to ask again, if anyone kows the difference between cutting and finishing pads? The description is the same for both. Is the MF material any different?
 
Thomas--nothing on the B&S corporate website and ADS doesn't give much detail, but note that the foam on cutting pads is orange and the finishing pads are black-- so perhaps different levels of foam firmness. I know Shane has a few so maybe he'll chime in.
 
I have been using both pads for about 2 weeks now, nice quality and they cut quick and good. Using our Hf Da speed 6 and HD cut i was able to cut pretty much anything on a 2012 black vette i also had about 3 days to use these pads with a FLEX DA and WOW. Im going to be ordering a few of each size right now i have 6.5" ones but want 4" and 5.5". I also have the optimum MF pads and the B&S are way nicer IMO..

Shane--thanks for jumping in. Can you give us an idea of the difference between the cutting and finishing pads??
 
TBH they look feel the same to me, just different color foam (orange/cut, black/polish) I didn't really mess with to many combos i mostly just used the cutting pad with HD Cut and the polish pad with HD polish. Im assuming that HD polish and UNO will work great with either pad combo...
 
heard these were going to be the ****! kinda pissed I had already oredered 12 of the megs MF...oh well, 6 cars eash pad and Ill need more anyway! hope the B&S last longer!!!!
