bryansbestwax vs GMC Envoy

This is a bit of a funny one for me. This envoy was just recently purchased by a gentleman I know. I was just detailed for sale but he thought I should look at it and see what I could find, so the hunt was on. The seats were a mess, tire shine was applied by the last shop to shine them up while leaving the leather dirty underneath, yea! I will let the other pictures show where the shop also missed. Let this be a lesson to those who want to make a living at this, spending a few extra minutes to check over your work will give you way more clients.

The Process

Washed with ONR and an Uber Sponge

Tires were cleaned with AG CWC and the Rims saw magnificent and a RaceGlaze wheel brush and grean wheel brush.

The Interior

Leather was cleaned with ProShiled PG 99 and an AG cleaning pad to get rid of the shine

The carpets saw some Proshield PG 99 and Autovalet extract

Vacuumed a few missed area, like between the front seats and under the back seats

Cleaned the vinyl with PG 99 for the areas that were missed

Extracted all the left over shampoo with the Aztec Hot Rod

Cleaned the glass with Sprayway

Put a thin coat of 3D Poxy on the exterior paint

Tires got CG Liquid Extreme Shine

Running boards received Optibond gel

The cowl, back trim and roof rack and mirrors received some Black Wow

The Befores(remember this was just detailed)

It never ceases to amaze me how poorly most cars are prepped for sale. At least you didn't have a ton of buffer swirls to deal with too.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing. One question: what did you use in this picture:

I have an Envoy as well and I tried 303 Aerospace, but it isn't as dark and wouldn't last through a rain.

I believe he mentioned BlackWow for the black trim.
