Broadband? Hate LD bills? READ ME

I don't work for these folks or get anything out of it - just passing along a great thing -

It's telephone service through your broadband! Your total bill is 20.55 a month for unlimited LD,local and regional calling (in state).

My regular phone bill was almost 40 bucks a month just for local calling - even with .05/min LD I was still hit with .15~.25/min in state charges and paying for calling cities other than durham. I regularly got hit with 50~60 dollar phone bills. Not any more. Now for 20 bucks a month I can call all day everyday till I am blue in the face.
 
Cool :cool I just found out we have BellSouth under one of the lowest rates. Hardly use the phone to any places. I use Road Runner and man is it fast :drool ! No need for phones here.
 
I don't even have a land line any more, just use my cell phone. Keeps those pesky telemarketers away!:flameon

My sister and her boyfriend recently switched their home phone over to Vonage.. I think they're pretty happy with it. Between mom's free weekend cell minutes and the cheap Vonage service, they're able to yap all the time :phone:

Sounds good. I just switched over to vonage. Actually, I am still in the middle of switching. It is up and running but my number has not changed away from Talk America yet.
