Britemax products.

Anybody ever heard of or used this line? It was recommended to me. Person doing the recommending only had some QD on hand, which was a nice product.

I haven't posted in a while, am I allowed to link to their site? I'm overly curious to know if it's just a relabel company, since they offer pads, compounds, polishes, sealers, wax, degreasers, etc.

Just ordered the full lineup of paint and metal products. Extra stuff never hurt anybody, right?

I'll throw up some reviews after they get some use.

I wonder if they're local to the region or just new in the northeast? My local body supply shop recently switched over to them and now I don't know what anything is!

Taking a look at the list of distributors, they're definitely not local. I'm not sure where they originated or how long they've been around the New England area, though.

Have not used them yet but emailed a small company in the USA that distributes it

It seems like a very nice range. Once I've got all the stock I need of the gear I use now, I am going to get some small bottles of Bmax in.

I have a bottle of the Grime Out and the Spray and Shine detailer....very nice products....The Grime out is a good cleaner..and smell like Almonds..cleans rims very nice and tires also..

The Spray and Shine is a real nice product...sorta like OCW in a way...leaves a real wet shine....it is big where I am ..in a lot of shops...there is a distributor near me and he gave me these as samples to try...and they work...

I like the Grime Out alot...

I'm in RI so I wondered if they might be local. I'd also be interested in hearing how well some of their stuff works, since I can get it OTC.

Where in RI? I live about a mile from the border, I'm likely within walking distance of the NAPA distributor in Westerly on that list.

Wish I'd realized that before I ordered.

Guys, are the BriteMax products re-packaged versions of Deep Finish? The product descriptions appear to be identical.

Thx.

Haha... Good call Tom.

The original guy who made the products made Metal Masters which then sold the formula to Britemax. He then started Deepfinish and sold the company a year later.

He was a local guy and I think he was from Peabody, MA. originally.

OK, thanks, rydawg.

I spoke with Deep Finish about 1/2 hr ago. She says they are not one in the same :nixweiss

I'm intrigued by the chrome polish you guys have been mentioning.

They are all different owners now, but the original owner/formulator had the same formulas, but were tweaked just a hair.

Legally, if you add 1% water, 1% amonia, and 1% color, they are not the same nor rebranded.

The chrome polish is awesome. I still use his old formula metal masters kit too. He is a trucker, so he was big on chrome and metal. Some Napa's carry the products locally.
