Alright, so I've searched and searched and cannot seem to find the definitive answer to my questions - do I need to polish my brand new black Tundra that doesn't need clay and has ZERO swirl marks?
Initially I thought of doing a quick and light polish with 3M SMR (I know it says SMR and has fillers, but its the lightest polish I have) and finishing with #16, but have been reading that no polishing is necessary on a new vehicle if there is no paint correction to be done. Anyone have some advice? Should I use a paint cleaner and go to #16? Mind you, I am a seasoned PC user.
I don't know, I just kind of feel funny not applying ANY sort of light polish/cleaner before putting a wax on because of course, as we all know, its all in the prep work.
